Short film – 'The Enchanted Island' Director Noel Kearns
In the summer of 2008, I was asked to participate in the making of a short film, directed by Noel Kearns. The film was set in Glengarriff in west Cork and has some underwater scenes which were shot in the chilly waters of Bantry Bay.
'Off the southwest coast of Ireland lies a small mysterious island. For as long as anyone can remember an ancient garden has existed here. Locals say it is a magical place and tales of mermaids living in the surrounding waters have often been told. No one lives on the island except for a solitary gardener Brian. Every night he is left alone and lonely on the small enchanted island. Or is he?'
