Photography Workshops on Land and Sea
Photography workshops or tours are a great way to expand your knowledge and experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I really enjoy teaching and coaching photographers and divers and have many years experience in bringing photographers of all levels along on their learning paths. Sometimes these needs are technical – overcoming camera or digital processing hurdles, while other times it may be a creative or visualising element that needs work. Guided learning will build your skills and confidence more quickly and it is really enjoyable to learn on location, making real images and sharing the experience with like-minded souls. It is also dedicated time out to follow your creative and artistic curiosity and I have found that people really enjoy this aspect of giving themselves some quality 'me time'.
Landscape workshops are planned so that we at nice locations at times that offer the best opportunities for great photographs. Group sizes are small, typically 3-6, so that I can give everybody some individual attention in seeing their learning needs.
Just a few lines to acknowledge your action-packed workshop last weekend, your knowledge and passion for photography .."is truely amazing. You had everything planned to a tee, from accomodation, to personal safety, to equipment safety and caring for your equipment. John, these might seem like small things, but it made for a stress free and enjoyable weekend.
John I really liked the way you explained your workflow, and the way you explained the software and editing programmes you use to get the best out of the finished photograph !
Achieving correct exposure, using filters, along with image sharpness were just some of the techniques you dealt with so well, both from the experienced photographer to the less experienced photographer. I personally learned loads from the weekend, thank you !
John, I wish you continued success with your workshop courses and look forward to taking part again sometime soon."
